A remedy - sell stuff on eBay. In true anticipatory fashion, I was preemptive about finally rummaging thru the garage, compiling any bike stuff worth a spit and listing it on eBay. The distraction, anticipation, the fielding of the ridiculous questions (yes some people are really that dumb) - just plain old, good, clean fun!
The results - just shy of a G. That's a cool thousand bucks for you less lingo savvy individuals. Who would have thought? That stuff (while probably worth at least twice the result at full retail) was just collecting dust, in a box(es).
A recommendation - either get surgery or get ebaying...your choice, but I'd go with the latter. It feels better. Cha-ching.
