Happy 200th birthday Abe...Just so there is no misunderstanding, I don't think that blogging should be left for special occasions, holidays and such...but what better opportunity to share the funny caricature of our nation's16th president riding a gassy, donkey floaty...Number 16 on the books, possibly number one in our hearts...
All kidding aside, I have been hard at work on the newly and more appropriately named, gender-neutral "underground lounge" (formally, the man-cave). After consulting with my better half, we agreed that the somewhat neanderthalish label was diametrically in conflict with my metro-self. I am pretty sure that within a few week's this labor of love will have reached its final stages. Suffice it to say that the majority of our time will be spent chillaxing in the lounge...towards completion, the ground-breaking coronation date will be announced shortly...and if anyone out there still checks to see if I blog, you'll most likely be invited for a cocktail.
All kidding aside, for realz this time...training is constant but informal for about another two weeks...I did the dreadmill/drainer combo this weekend...10 miles and 2 hours, respectively, and if it weren't for the DVR and the Tour de Cali my brain may have imploded..., thankfully, however it didn't.
