This year, I was, again, the devil on Olde Stage. So much fun to see and help (or heckle) all the gutsy age groupers as they grind their way up the steep grade. That hill never gets easy; and racing it is a whole-nother burn. So many teammates, friends (and Kristina) raced - PR's were gained. Additionally, I had an apprentice this year as the Noodle King donned the horns and cape. By the end, my legs were toast from the repeats, my voice was gone and I was glad to be out there cheering everyone over the top.
As the WTC has taken the race over, I hope that it will continue to be as great a race as it always has been with Barry at the helm. As for next year, to race or cheer...that remains to be seen.
