All Systems Rockin'...

As of mid-October...less than one month out from IMFL - all cylinders are firing....things are coming together...the hay is in the barn and that baby is FULL....I have put in hard hours training, rehabbing my knees, getting fit. I can honestly say I don't know that I have ever been fitter.

The swim - on course for a PR...maybe a 1:15, maybe better depending on the buoyancy factor, the waves, the jellyfish...

The bike...smashing it vs. where I have ever been (thank you Powertap)....1.5 -2 mph better than last year's pace....add in my sleek Rudy aero helmet and some Zipps and my math says sub 5:45.

The run - which started out as a walk...and a painful walk at that has become a slow, steady shuffle at somewhere between 10:30 - 10:40 regardless of distance or brick...its a LOW z2 pace that sometimes I feel like I could do all week.

In my brain...that Moby song plays over and over....with the words slightly changed...."all systems rockin'"....My math and my coach say, in the face of adversity a PR...even a big PR is possible... (Craig says inevitable)....

And then disaster strikes........
