For me, I think the hardest part is her little whimpers...I know the pain she feels, I've been there before...but there's nothing I can do for her to ease her pain. I would just take another Vicodin and try to sleep. Poor kid.
When Kristina got home from work, I got off my butt, which was parked in the dining room chair all day and cramped, to head out for my long run...pretty unmotivated...this is going to be a long one. At 1.5, I ran into Brian, on his way home from his turn-around. Most of my training is in solitude, so it was a welcome change...as Kristina can attest, I am a chatty-Cathy. We covered training, nutrition, peeing on the run, kids, work, family, growing up...it was awesome, made the miles cruise.
At about mile 12, my feet were starting to hurt...H.T.F.U., only one mile left. Finished 13 in 2 hours, feeling strong and knowing that some new kicks are unquestionably in order.
