Luna came home today following her TPLO surgery...It's so nice to have her back. It looks like it's going to be a few weeks in the cone and crate. She tends to be a teence mischievous, so we'll really need to watch her like a hawk...little stinker!

So, I have to give the credit to Kristina for this picture...its recycled. She found it first...but I love this lil' guy...and it perfectly depicts me the last two mornings. Zonked! At 5 am, like everyday, the alarm goes off, but I have somehow convinced myself that I don't hear it...I know its there, off in the distance, somewhere...a pesky little noise, but its not calling me.
Finally, after the better part of 15 minutes, I muster up the gas to pull my bootay out of the sack. This morning I got to the pool without my watch, my water bottle or my workout...Luckily, my goggles and suit were in my bag or I may well have forgot them too...Note: Jess's mention of "preparedness" in her recent post.
Thankfully the day turned out better than the morning. I rode at lunch, 31 miles - Monarch Park Place to Lyons...rolling hills and wind, yes...but I felt my legs again...hammered it out in 1:37; 19.1 mph! Felt great in spurts!
Breakfast for dinner on the menu tonight...nice!

Great pace on the ride, that is a good lunch break! And yes, Breakfast for Dinner is about as good as it gets. I could not agree more!
Because I am pathetically well organised....I always keep a bag in the car with a bathing suit/goggles/water bottle/running shoes....the things I forget mostly !!!
It's my 'locker room'.......
Best to Luna !
