Saturday's workout was a 43 mile bike, 11.5 mile run, brick. I had a hard time getting out the door, totally procrastinating, tooling around, wasting time. Once I got going, I felt pretty good on the bike. I adjusted my seat up a bit, and felt less cramped, more fluid. If I keep my seat here however, I'll need to add some risers to my aerobars to get me little more upright. The run was steady ...smooth...not superfast, but felt strong, until I turned back into the wind, whence the grind began. On the way back the temperature must have dropped at least 20 degrees. By the time I got home, it started to snow. Winter has been long. I am officially so ready for summer.
I tried to take a quick nap when I got home, which was short-lived as I was abruptly woken by a nasty foot cramp. Before I knew it, it was party time...The HEP-CDA team came over for our monthly get-together for some great appetizers, wine and beers, and some lasagna, to fill our tanks after our Saturday workouts. Good times!
This morning we skipped our usual 8am yoga to d0 the noon, 75 minute C2 class. Mixing it up is always nice, and this class focused mostly on well-needed hip openers. I am pretty much toast, vegging on the couch, watching bad TV. Maybe I'll get in a few chores, definately a little nappy as I get ready for week 3 of build and putting more hay in the barn...
Next week's goals: 5,600 swim, 130 bike, 27 run
