Not so long ago, we took Luna to the vet because she had a little limp...Diagnosis - the early signs of hip dysplasia. In dogs they call it "dysplasia"...in human folk - femoral acetabular impingement. We both have it to varying degrees....
On Monday, I took Luna to the vet for this eye rash thingy she has been experiencing. Diagnosis - blepheritis...a chronic inflammation of the eye lids, causing red puffy eyes...in both dogs and humans...we both have it...I keep mine at bay by washing my eye lids fairly regularly with baby shampoo...not sure why it works, but it does...Somehow I don't think she'll go for that, though she likes her ears cleaned and teeth brushed...
On Friday, while (allegedly) running around the backyard howling at the neighbor she tore her little ACL...I've had ACL reconstruction twice...
She snores, I snore. She leaves her little piggy messes all over the house...so do I (sorry honey)! We are both a teence bit needy for lovin'...both moderately high maintenance.
You get the point. Somehow, it happens, maybe I am nuts, but I feel like sometimes...she is me. We are one...
She is going to have reconstructive surgery on Tuesday.
