Pin cushion kid in Z2 Hell...

Here we are, mid-week, my how time flies...sometimes.

Yesterday started off with some acupuncture, and to my delight, I ended up getting Amy again, as there were some patients that didn't show up and I got traded...so that was great! We did some pretty intensive electro-acupuncture with 7 needles in my left leg and 8 in my right, and an e-stim current flowing thru...nice and exhausting. But you really can't tell right away.

You can't tell until you try to ride a bike. Ugh. 2 hours and 36 minutes of sore legs, ass, back...barely able to stay in z2. To compound issues, the trainer that I was on totally crapped out, so you could only pedal at like 12 mph, in a somewhat convulsive motion, while the little free-wheel thingy emitted a foul smell of burning rubber...It was pretty much hell on (trainer) wheels. K and I rode together for her ride, and thankfully she switched trainers with me...most likely because I was whining like a little baby...!

So if that was hell, the burger that Kristina whipped up for dinner for us with mushrooms and Swiss cheese and some waffle fries was heaven...for about the 7 seconds it took me to devour it.

As for the rest of the week...Monday was a good swim, tempo run and lift combo...did my endurance swim of 2,450 this morning and I'll close out the day with some core power yoga...peace out, namaste!
