Facing my doubts...

My gut tells me that we've all been there...we've all thought...am I working hard enough? Am I doing the right training? The right amounts? The right intensity? Can I work harder? There are days when the questions creep in, no matter how much we know we are doing all we can, in the right amounts, at the right intensity.

On Friday afternoon I met with Craig; we usually grab a cup of joe, talk about the week in progress, talk about the week ahead, life, gear, nutrition...you name it. He's a great listener...sounding board...coach... friend... I shared with him my fear, my doubt...we talked thru it and with a "have faith brother"... I knew, I always knew, I was on the right track.

Today's brick workout helped me realize. I remember a little less than a year ago...I did my first half ironman...after which I was wrecked, just crushed. I didn't workout for a week following the event, slept like a rock, was so sore I could barely walk...you get the picture. 47 mile ride, 14.5 mile run...solid, and in the bank!
